Starting the lambs on a high quality creep feed at an early age is essential to healthy lambs.

Biosecurity is extremely important at Elm Creek Polypay.  Our bout with Johnes taught us a real lesson about introducing new ewes into the flock.  Our flock has been entirely closed for years, except for the introduction of new rams--which is a necessary evil for flocks under 250 head.

We believe our flock to be Johnes-free and Scrapie-free.  These beliefs are based upon our Johnes eradication research project participation, and our enrollment in the Voluntary Scrapie Program.

We always welcome visitors to Elm Creek Polypay.  However, we would ask that you wear clean shoes, or wear plastic boot covers--which we have on-site.
